CEO Your Life

Life is the most important business you’ll run — I’m here to help you become its CEO.

I’m Rachel Jena, a certified life and leadership coach with two decades of experience across media, communications, art, and corporate strategy. My path has never been linear, and that variety is exactly what enriches my work today. I’ve spent years moving between creative studios and high-stake boardrooms, witnessing how ideas form, how leaders think, and how people navigate ambition, pressure, and purpose.

From listening to artists articulate their raw creative processes to managing multimillion-dollar media budgets for global brands, I’ve learned how to see multiple perspectives, hold space for complexity, and blend structure with intuition.

These dual worlds taught me how to move fluidly between strategy and soul, spreadsheets and sketchbooks — a balance I bring into every coaching conversation.

MY OWN CEO DREAM

For fifteen years, I built my career in the “Big Four” advertising networks, rising through the ranks and leading strategy for global powerhouses such as L’Oréal, Unilever, Rolex, PepsiCo, and Tiffany & Co. My last corporate roles included serving as Head of Strategy for L’Oréal China and General Manager for its Asia-Pacific travel retail business.

My journey began with a bold promise made one misty morning on a mountain in Yunnan, that I would climb to the top of my industry and one day become a CEO. I chased that vision relentlessly, moving countries, learning new languages, pushing myself hard, and sacrificing personal time along the way.

But when I was preparing to start a new role in Shanghai, life shifted dramatically. I lost both my parents to illness within a year. Grief forced me to pause, reflect deeply, and confront the biggest questions:

What does success truly mean? How do I want to live? What impact do I want to create?

THE QUESTIONS THAT CHANGED MY LIFE

Grief stripped away everything familiar and pushed me to rebuild myself from the inside out. I invested in personal growth, studying self-leadership, exploring spirituality, deepening my understanding of purpose, and completing a long-held dream of becoming a yoga teacher.

I explored meditation, neuroscience, and practices that strengthened my inner world as much as my external one.

Somewhere along the way, a little rescue dog from China named Coco became my companion and a daily reminder of joy, presence, and resilience.

Through all of this, I realised that the moments I cherished most in my corporate years weren’t the accolades or the presentations to global CEOs. What moved me the most was supporting my team: building their confidence, helping them grow, and watching them step into their own power. That was my real calling, my ikigai.

I now understand that I was coaching long before I named it. And I am proud to channel those years of lived experience into meaningful work that helps others evolve.

ready to work with you

Today, my coaching blends the best of everything I’ve learned, the strategic rigour of my corporate background, the creativity of my earlier years, and the emotional depth shaped by experience, growth, and loss. I coach with empathy, presence, and unwavering commitment to helping clients lead their lives with clarity, confidence, and direction.

I’ve made bold choices, learned difficult lessons, rebuilt my inner foundations, and earned the tools needed to become CEO of my own life. Now, I’m here to help you do the same.

highlights

  • Integrity, leadership, and resilience form the core of my work. I believe in empathy as a daily practice, curiosity as a catalyst for growth, and creativity as a pathway to possibility. I hold space with openness, respect, and a genuine desire to understand your world. Above all, I see personal growth as a lifelong journey, one you don’t need to walk alone.

  • My roots in coaching were formed long before formal training, through years of leading teams and nurturing individuals into confident performers. I trained with Erickson Coaching International, one of the pioneers of modern coaching and an accredited school of the International Coach Federation (ICF). I am certified to carry the Erickson Accredited Coach title.

  • My coaching style is both structured and deeply human. I bring clarity, strategy, and practical tools while creating space for emotion, reflection, and creativity. Clients describe sessions as grounding yet expansive — a space where they reconnect with their true voice, reclaim their agency, and rediscover possibilities they had forgotten were available.

I am as comfortable in suits as I am around surfboards, moving effortlessly between logic and intuition. I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all advice. Instead, we co-create a direction that honours your personality, values, and ambitions. At the heart of it, I genuinely want you to succeed — on your terms.

  • My approach blends strategic leadership experience, creative insight, and personal transformation. I’ve led teams, managed global accounts, navigated multiple relocations, and rebuilt my life after loss, giving me a deep understanding of both high-performance environments and meaningful inner growth.

  • Yes. I coach clients across APAC, Europe, North America, and the Middle East. My sessions are fully online, making them accessible regardless of time zone or location.

  • Absolutely. Many clients work with me during big career shifts, relocations, identity changes, or periods of uncertainty. Coaching provides clarity, stability, and strategic support during these transformative moments.

  • Not at all. Leadership isn’t about job titles, it’s about how you show up in your life. Whether you're a professional, a business owner, or someone seeking clarity and direction, coaching helps you build the mindset and tools to lead your life more intentionally.
