Life is the most important business you’ll run — I’m here to help you become its CEO.
I’m Rachel Jena, a coach with two decades of experience spanning media, communications, art, and leadership. My path hasn’t been linear, but that’s exactly what makes it rich.
My career has granted me a seat in artists' studios, listening to their raw thought and creative processes, and I’ve sat in boardrooms with CEOs and senior leaders, managing millions in media budgets and developing communications strategies for some of the world’s most recognisable brands.
These dual worlds give me a unique lens — the ability to see multiple perspectives, stay open, and navigate both structure and spontaneity, spreadsheets and sketchbooks.
MY OWN CEO DREAMS
For the last decade and a half, I was focused on climbing the ranks in the “Big Four” advertising agencies, leading strategy for global icons like L’Oréal, Unilever, Rolex, PepsiCo, and Tiffany & Co. My last role was as Head of Strategy for the media agency team for L’Oréal China and as General Manager building and transitioning the agency team for its Asia-Pacific travel retail business.
This entire journey began with a bold decision one misty morning atop a mountain in Yunnan: I told myself I’d scale new career heights and one day become a CEO!
And I chased that dream hard — long hours, relentless focus, mastering new languages, uprooting to new countries, and paying the price in personal sacrifices. But life suddenly rewrote my script. Just as I was about to step into an exciting new job in Shanghai, I lost both of my parents to illness within the span of a year. Grief cracked me open and challenged me in many ways.
THE QUESTIONS THAT SHIFTED
Grief and no longer recognising myself in the mirror forced me to ask the real questions:
How do I want to live? What does success actually mean? Where do purpose and impact truly come from?
I began investing not just in career moves, but in the CEO within — pursuing knowledge, spirituality, and deeper self-leadership. I completed a long-time dream of becoming a yoga teacher, explored meditation, breathwork, and neuroscience, and widened my focus from managing businesses to understanding what it means to truly lead a life and cultivate leadership from within.
And somewhere in between strategy, spirituality, and rebuilding myself from loss, I gained a four-legged, scooter-riding friend named Coco — a rescue dog from China.
I also realised that the real joy of my corporate years wasn’t in the competition or accolades. Don’t get me wrong, it was amazing to stand in a room and present to the CEO of one of the world’s largest companies, but what really stirred my soul was grooming my team members — building their confidence, and watching them grow and champion results.
That was my ikigai — my purpose. I realise now I was coaching long before I called it coaching and I’m so proud to now be able to scale meaning and value beyond presentation slides and the boardroom.
I’m also honest enough to admit that I’ve been coached intermittently in the past decade — I stand here stronger, more self-aware, and more purpose-driven because of the coaches in my life. I have built a career I am proud of, and my relationships are stronger and more meaningful.
ready to work with you
Today, my coaching blends the best of the worlds I’ve inhabited. My global mindset, the rigour of my corporate DNA — strategic thinking, creativity, results-driven focus — with the depth of my lived experience. I coach with empathy, openness, and authenticity, helping clients build clarity, confidence, and resilience so they can define success on their own terms and take action.
I’ve made all the right mistakes, learned the hard lessons, strengthened my heart, and earned the tools to become CEO of my own life. Now, I’m here to help you do the same.

My coaching is equal parts strategic and human. I bring structure, clarity, and practical tools while holding space for exploration, emotion, and creativity.
Coachees have described working with me as both grounding and expansive — a space where they feel a sense of openness, step into true ownership of their lives, and reconnect with possibilities they hadn’t seen before.
I am both suits and surfboards, spreadsheets meet sketchbooks, logic meets intuition. I don’t prescribe cookie-cutter answers; instead, I co-create a path forward that reflects who you are, what you value, and the impact you want to make. At the heart of it, I genuinely want you to succeed — on your terms.
